A Night at Sea

A deep rich blue paints the sky, the light from the moon creeping into the corners of the night. Pale blue clouds stretch to the sides, as the full moon peaks through a mist to color bathe the sea in it's commanding light. A smooth glassy surface, the sea is calm and reflective, the moonlight glinting off the peaks. A ship sails towards the moon and even further to the eerie night. This artwork is painted on Masonite made textured by the artist using modeling paste. Edged with black and varnished with gamvar in a satin finish.
