Painting no.3 of the 2023 Spring Collection, this acrylic painting on Masonite depicts a subtly powerful sky of blue crowded by a large feathered pink cloud, all fronted by bold fluffy clouds. The grand shape of these clouds is brought in by dense and bold shades of purple and blue, soft pink highlights, and a hint of teal to bring the white off the pink. These clouds are hinted not with highlights of yellow or orange, but instead with a shimmer of gold. Outspoken and strong, this painting is a sky to appreciate.
