Queen Anne's Revenge Print
Belonging to the Mystic Sea Collection, this acrylic painting on
masonite made textured by the artist, is a vibrant seascape painted on site at the Fort Macon
beach access to Atlantic Beach during sunset. Just over one mile off the coast of this beach in
the Beaufort Inlet, lies the shipwreck of Blackbeard's, Queen Anne's Revenge. The beach
painted as if it were the early 1700's, before the ship sank, Queen Anne's Revenge sails
towards the horizon in all of it's former glory. The painting fell in the sand and features a layer
of texture underneath the paint from the site itself. The water rolls in towards the beach,
growing teal with sand being pulled into the waves.
